- Investigate and resolve variances, discrepancies, and reconciliation issues with curiosity and persistence
Compliance & Controls
- Ensure accounting activities adhere to company policies, internal controls, and applicable accounting standards
- Assist with audit preparation by providing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries
- Support compliance with tax and regulatory requirements as needed
Process Improvement & Collaboration
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve data accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Operations, AP/AR, Payroll) to ensure financial data integrity
- Contribute to system improvements, implementations, or documentation of accounting procedures
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in an accounting or finance role
- Solid understanding of general accounting principles and month-end close processes
- Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred (But Not Required)
- Experience in a corporate, public accounting, or multi-entity environment
- Exposure to ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, or similar)
- CPA or CPA-eligible (or intention to pursue certification)
